A clean and fine complete set of the first 100 volumes (1902-2000) of this cornerstone of Australasian ornithology. All original issues, including the the earliest volumes with hand-colured lithographs, well bound in neat uniform dark blue modern clean cloth-covered boards (save 7 volumes that are similarly bound and lettered in matching dark blue vinyl) by skilled university binder - with gold spine lettering for the title, volume, year, publisher (RAOU) set off with top and bottom double gold bars. A fine and comprehensive set, including the Species Index to volumes 1 to 59 (1953) in its original RAOU green cloth binding, the only two issues ever published of The Emulet (1949 & 1952) bound together in matching dark blue vinyl, and the Species Index for volumes 51 to 60 (1962), which is bound at the end of volume 61. A rare opportunity to obtain a complete and well-bound set of this invaluable RAOU published journal – the cornerstone of Australian ornithology.
